Sharing
Sharing made easy
Your friends and family can easily access the original, full resolution versions of your photos and videos, and you and your colleagues can collaborate on a set of documents without constantly emailing them to each other.
You decide who sees what files.
Read only sharing
Safely share your files with friends without worrying about them overwritting your data. With Syncplicity,
you can give your contacts permission to contribute to a shared folder or set them to read-only mode. In read-only,
they see everything you see but their modifications will not update your files.
Stop emailing files
If you and a client are collaborating on a set of documents, there's no need to continually email files back and forth.
Instead, setup a shared folder in Syncplicity. As soon as you hit save, the file is backed up and downloaded to your
colleague's computer. A little desktop alert will pop up on her computer telling her about the new version. And,
previous versions are all accessible online. Your colleague can even contribute to the shared documents without
installing the client.
Easy collaboration
A shared folder means easy collaboration. Any change you make is synchronized to everyone participating
in the share. And it's safe; if you and a friend both edit a document, the conflicts are handled gracefully so you never
lose your changes.
Real World Example
Your collegue has created a spreadsheet (in a shared folder) for you to review
You open the spreadsheet once it was automatically synchronized to your computer...
You look it over, make some changes and save the file...
Your collegue opens the spreadsheet with your saved changes.
